Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
Join the Purple Oak Health Team | Toronto, Ontario

Bring your expertise to a clinic where whole-person care, collaboration, and practitioner wellbeing are at the heart of what we do.

Purple Oak Health is a preventative health and wellness clinic located in a beautiful pocket of Toronto near Bloor West Village, at 325 Jane Street in Baby Point, neighbouring the Junction, Swansea, Royal York, Humber Heights, and Roncesvalles.

Our multidisciplinary team provides comprehensive care with a strong focus on the mind-body connection, mental health, wellness, and prevention.
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who shares our commitment to holistic, client-centred care and would enjoy being part of a collaborative healthcare environment.

About Purple Oak Health
At Purple Oak, we believe that physical and mental health are deeply interconnected. We encourage our practitioners to look beyond individual symptoms and consider the whole person, their experiences, environment, and overall wellbeing.

We value compassion, collaboration, prevention, education, equity, diversity, inclusion, and client-centred care. We are committed to creating a welcoming environment for both our clients and our practitioners.
Our team includes professionals across mental health, massage therapy, allied health, wellness, and assessment services. We encourage internal referrals, interprofessional collaboration, and shared learning, allowing practitioners to work together when a client's needs extend across disciplines.

What We Offer
We want our practitioners to be able to focus on what they do best: providing excellent care and building meaningful relationships with their clients.

At Purple Oak, we take care of many of the operational details, including:
• Administrative, scheduling, and billing support
• Comprehensive software for booking, charting, scheduling, and billing
• Marketing of your services through our website and social media
• Linens, laundry service, and massage oils
• A comfortable, calming, and professionally designed treatment environment
• Comfortable staff kitchenette and access to a large outdoor patio
• Free street parking
• Opportunities for internal referrals and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Continuing professional development opportunities
• A supportive and collegial team environment
• Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance
• Opportunities for growth as we expand our services and locations
We offer a competitive revenue split, with yearly fee increases and opportunities for growth within the clinic.

The Opportunity
We are flexible around days of the week and hours, with multiple morning and afternoon blocks available Monday through Saturday.

Our goal is to create a practice environment where you can show up, focus on your clients, and feel supported by your team, without having to manage the many administrative demands that come with running your own practice.
There are also opportunities to develop your client base through our existing referral network, marketing efforts, and relationships with other practitioners within the clinic.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
• 2–4+ years of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist
• Current registration and active status in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
• A strong understanding of the mind-body connection
• Knowledge of and commitment to trauma-informed care
• A compassionate, client-centred approach to treatment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A willingness to collaborate with practitioners across disciplines
• An openness to learning new approaches and techniques
• Flexible availability
• A commitment to professionalism, inclusivity, and high-quality client care

Experience in areas such as prenatal/postpartum massage, chronic pain, stress management, nervous-system regulation, or other specialized areas of massage therapy would be considered an asset.

Why Purple Oak?
We are more than a collection of independent practitioners. We are building a connected, collaborative healthcare community where practitioners can learn from one another, refer clients internally, and contribute to a broader vision of preventative health and wellness.

If you are an experienced RMT who values holistic care, trauma-informed practice, collaboration, and the mind-body connection, we would love to hear from you.

To apply: Please send your resume and a brief introduction outlining your experience, areas of practice, and what interests you about joining Purple Oak Health.
