Graduation Requirements

Requirements for Graduation

To graduate from the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy all students must fulfill certain requirements:

  • Students must have successfully completed all course requirements.
  • Students must have completed a minimum of 330 hours of faculty-supervised massage therapy to the public, which are accumulated through both onsite and offsite clinical placements.
  • The total number of clinical hours must include 15 Community Service hours obtained through various RMT-supervised charity, sporting, and community events, providing care to participants and staff.
  • Immediately prior to graduation, students must pass both the Theory and Practical Comprehensive Examinations that are delivered to students to complete the school curriculum.
