Con-Ed Spring 2018

Continuing Education

Welcome to Sutherland-Chan Continuing Education!

We are pleased to bring you our spring 2018 course line-up. Each spring and fall we seek to offer you a variety of new and “back by popular demand” workshops to meet your learning needs. Whether you are a new or an experienced RMT, we hope that you will check out our offerings and find something that inspires, intrigues or challenges you. You can get more information on any course that interests you by clicking on its title in the list on the right.

Price Discounts

We provide reduced rates for early bird registrations. If you are a Sutherland-Chan graduate, there is discount off your fee whenever you register. What you need to do to get the discount is to enter the alumni promotional code that is emailed to you at the beginning of each continuing education cycle. If you did not receive the code, or can’t locate it now, please contact Robert Rodbourne as indicated below.

How to Register

Registration is straightforward. Click on the title to the right to go to the page for the workshop you are interested in. Once there, click on Register Now and fill in your details, before proceeding to Payment Options to confirm registration. If you have a promotion code, enter it there to receive the discounted price. Finally, you will be transferred to the payment page. We accept PayPal or major credit cards. You will receive email confirmations for payment and registration once the process is complete.

If you have any questions, or need help with registration, don’t hesitate to contact Robert Rodbourne at 416-924-1107 ext. 19 or by email.

Ontario CEUs

The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario decided in 2016 to stop pre-approval of Con-Ed courses for CEUs. CEU approvals that were granted before their decision are valid for three years from the approval date. Where this applies to any courses in our spring line-up, we have indicated “CMTO-Approved CEUs” on the course description page.

For all other courses, CMTO registrants are now responsible for assessing their own CEU choices, and you will have received updated information about this from the College. You can also access the following areas of the CMTO’s website:

Sutherland-Chan Continuing Education instructors whose workshops do not have pre-approved CEUs will provide their course participants with a list of proposed practice competencies and performance indicators (PC/PIs) and a suggested CEU level to assist with your submissions to the College.
