Con-Ed Fall 2018

Continuing Education

Welcome to Sutherland-Chan Continuing Education!

Each spring and fall we seek to offer a variety of new and “back by popular demand” workshops to meet your learning needs. Whether you are a new or experienced RMT, we hope you will check out our offerings and find something that inspires, intrigues or challenges you. To get more information on any course, click on its title in the list on the right.

Price Discounts

We provide reduced rates for early bird registrations. Sutherland-Chan grads receive a discount in addition to any other promotions. To get this discount, enter the alumni promotional code that is emailed to you at the beginning of each continuing education cycle. If you did not receive the code, or can’t locate it now, please contact Robert Rodbourne as indicated below.

How to Register

Registration is straightforward. Click on the specific workshop title to the right to go its web page. Once there, click on Register Now to access the registration form. To submit, print or email the form. We accept PayPal, cheques, cash or major credit cards. (If you do wish to pay via PayPal, click on the button on the registration form to go to the PayPal form.) If you have a promotion code, don’t forget to enter it before completing your registration process. You will receive email confirmations for payment and registration once the process is complete.

If you have any questions, or need help with registration, don’t hesitate to contact Robert Rodbourne at 416-924-1107 ext. 19 or by email

Ontario CEUs

Please note that the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario has decided, effective July 1, 2018, to discontinue collection of Continuing Education Credits (CEUs).* This means that workshops will no longer have CEUs attached to them. While registrants will still need to develop learning plans, it is not yet clear how continuing education courses will be accounted for in these plans. We appreciate that this may cause some interim confusion for RMTs. Our instructors will continue to provide information about how each course meets practice competencies and performance indicators (PC/PI) in the Interjurisdictional Competencies document.

If you have questions about how a particular workshop would help you reach your learning goals, please feel free to contact Robert. He will connect you with the instructor(s), who can clarify what you can expect from participating in their course.

*See the CMTO website for further information.
